A tsunami is a series of waves in a water body caused by a large displacement of water. Happens in the ocean or in large lakes.

Impacts
Primary
- Animals can wash ashore and die
- Many people can drown
- The flooding of lands can lead to crop damage
- Infrastructure may get destroyed
Secondary
- Ships can get shipwrecked and/or beached. This is a major pollution issue.
- People may get trapped under collapsed structures
- Lots of money would have to be spent in order to fix infrastructure and in order to deal with the displaced people.
